VEJA x Amélie Pichard is an outdoor-inspired sneaker with minimalistic edges. Its all-terrain chunky sole has 90’s neon details and makes this sneaker adapted for both macadam and countryside paths.
Its design also reminds the comfort and ease of a clog, that we can put on and take off easily. The engraved and enameled stopper cord allows a better support. As a blink to the luxury brand imagery and the irony of the counterfeits that comes out of it, Amélie Pichard twisted the upper with her monogram pattern on top.

Upper V-Knit
100% recycled polyester. V-Knit is knitted in one piece to reduce layering and stitching. Therefore, this technique avoids waste. Light and comfortable, it allows the foot to breathe and stay well supported.
Midsole
54% sugar cane.
Outsole
24% Amazonian rubber and 29% rice waste.
Insole
52% sugar cane and 23% organic cotton.
L-Foam cushion
30 % natural latex from Brazil. It brings comfort and protection against vibrations.

One of VEJA’s main raw materials is Amazonian rubber. This material is present in each sole of our sneakers. We buy the rubber directly from cooperatives, formed by families of seringueiros (rubber tappers) from the Amazon.
In the heart of the Amazonian Forest, the seringueiros bleed the rubber trees according to a traditional technique that allows trees to regenerate. This activity contributes to the protection of the forest by avoiding deforestation and intensive cattle breeding.
The price paid per kilo of natural rubber paid by VEJA is 4 times higher than the market price.
