The latest member of the Pichard family, this new version of the Carrie bag also gets its iconic crocodile in gold zamac, which is placed on the bag's flap in the shape of a "baguette".

Made every month in a limited edition by a family-run workshop in Portugal, this piece inspired by the dawn of the 2000s is entirely hand-moulded using a wood-pressed leather (or not) process. With a gentle gesture, the baguette-shaped bag closes with its crocodile clasp.

New version of our baguette shoulder bag made from waxed linen with brown nappa piping.   Inside pocket with calf leather patch. Cotton lining. Smooth calf leather shoulder strap, adjustable for shoulder carrying.

    Dimensions: 28 x 12 x 8 cm.

Handle: 41 cm (short), 61 cm (long).

Natural waxed linen (French origin) and lambskin leather (European origin, tanned in Spain).

    Handmade in Portugal.

Our waxed linen comes from a textile factory founded in 1835 in the North of France. Cultivating linen is respectful of the environment as this is a plant that only requires a very small amount of pesticides, consumes a lot less water than cotton and doesn’t damage the soil. The linen cultures of our supplier are in the North of France and Normandy. It’s the first factory that produces a 100% French linen. All the steps, whether it’s the harvest, the combing, the spinning, the weaving or the ennobling, are all done in France. Their first spinning factory is located in Haute Normandy, and specialises in the “au mouillé” process which allows linen threads to be incredibly thin. This innovation is a meaningful step towards the relocation of the French industry; it’s a know-how that had disappeared for twenty years. The spinning factory was the only missing link of this sector. The value chain is now totally controlled which allows for a total traceability and the optimisation of the environmental impact of the finished good. We wanted to create a waxed linen with them in order to give more longevity to our product. The coating (waxing) is REACH certified and makes the linen water-repellent.
