    Adjustable signet ring is made in hand hammered silver, then placed in a gold bath. Shape of the France. Signet ring adjusts from US 5 to 6,5

    All the pieces in this collection were handcrafted by jewellers in the old city of Kabul. One of these is Monawer Shah. Having trained first in Kabul, and then in India, Monawar has recently set up his own workshop on the site of an old silver bazaar in Kabul’s historic district of Murad Khani

    Ishkar provides a rare window onto this all-but-forgotten side to Afghanistan by working with local master artisans. With this new collection with Amelie Pichard, Ishkar is breathing new life into Afghan craftsmanship, making it possible for craftsmanship to not only survive, but to thrive in spite of conflict.
